An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.
A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.
These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.
A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.
Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.
The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
